Photography is an art form that enables one to capture a single moment in time without any variations from the truth.
My love for photography dates back to childhood when I was always carrying a disposable camera in my bag, shooting anything and everything I found interesting. It wasn't until High School that I actually studied the craft of photography. One of my portrait photographs was selected to be in an exhibit featuring work from various students in New York City. I was one of three students at my High School to be chosen.
ASB Photography was born as a headshot company in 2013 when I graduated from The Atlantic Acting School and realized my talents could be used in the industry I was pursuing. Having a CURRENT photo of yourself that entices your potential audience is an absolute MUST, but also choosing a photographer who makes you comfortable and at ease in front of the camera is equally important. If you don't feel relaxed with the person behind the lens, then it will bleed through in the images. Choose someone you like. Someone you want to grab coffee with. Someone who makes you smile. My goal is to make the session stress free, fun and exciting so your images stand out amongst all the rest.
Meanwhile, as ASB Photography grows, I have opened my doors to newborn babies, children, families, and birthday parties. I have always loved interacting with children because deep down, I still am one. I've always been good with children and know how to interact with them. Maybe it's because they think I'm one of them...in a larger (more mature) package. I love working with families and capturing their joys and intimate moments as a whole. I love photographing children because they grow so fast and their innocence is beautiful and magical. It's an honor and privilege to capture those peaceful images of their first moments on earth and watching them grow up year after year for family portraits. I like to keep my family sessions pressure free. These photos aren't going in a magazine. They are yours to keep and frame on your walls. Enjoy them! These are the moments you will never forget. I promise to make memories that will last a lifetime.
